Shipping policy

At The Time Tin, we aim to deliver your order efficiently and safely. Below you’ll find all the details regarding our shipping process.

All items are shipped via our free standard delivery service, Royal Mail Tracked 24 which aims to deliver the next working day. You can find out more information regarding this service on the Royal Mail website here.

Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed by The Time Tin.

Order Processing Time

  • We aim to process and dispatch orders the same working day if placed before 15:00 (Monday-Friday), excluding public holidays.
  • Orders placed after 15:00 will be processed the next working day.
  • You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
  • Orders are not processed on weekends.

If we anticipate any delay with processing your order, we will contact you by email or telephone. 

Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently do not offer international shipping.
  • Orders can only be shipped within the United Kingdom.

Shipment confirmation & Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can track your order using the link provided or by visiting the Royal Mail website and entering your tracking number.

Shipping Delays

While we aim for timely delivery, delays can sometimes occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • High seasonal postal volumes
  • Weather disruptions
  • Royal Mail network delays
  • Local delivery issues

If we receive any updates from Royal Mail regarding delays, we will promptly let you know. 

Lost or Damaged Items

If your order appears to be lost, delayed beyond reasonable expectations, or arrives damaged:

  1. Please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery for damaged items, or within 7 days of expected delivery for lost items at sales@thetimetin.co.uk
  2. We will assist in investigating the issue with Royal Mail
  3. Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or refund
